Before surgery, we typically require pre-anesthetic bloodwork and a full physical exam to evaluate your pet’s overall health and confirm they’re a good candidate for anesthesia. This step allows us to identify any underlying conditions that could affect how your pet handles the procedure and tailor our approach accordingly.
Throughout every surgical procedure, your pet’s vital signs are closely monitored, and we use pain management protocols to keep them as comfortable as possible every step of the way. We don’t consider the procedure finished until your pet is stable, comfortable, and ready to go home with you. When it’s time for your furry friend to head home, we’ll provide detailed aftercare instructions and answer any questions you may have. If any concerns arise during your pet’s recovery, we encourage you to reach out.
